Inaugural Sausage-Fest hits the fan on April 3rd at the Corner Bar
ROCKFORD – The Fatties are at it again, as the Challenge has been issued to break the longstanding record at the Corner Bar’s Hot Dog Hall of Fame!
No one claimed the record bounty of $1000 for a new chili dog record, but newcomer Don Bryant of Belding managed to stuff 20 dogs down his gullet…before bouncing #21 to become the Chow Down Champ.
More importantly, 22 Fatty friends and fans participated and an equal number observed this obscene display of gluttony on April 3rd in downtown Rockford. 14 Chuggers made their way into the Hot Dog Hall of Fame by downing at least 12 chilli puppies.
The Fatties are still gathering their pledges, but it looks as if they were able to raise nearly $800 in blood money!
All sponsor dollars will support Arbor Circle of Grand Rapids, which works with youth combating substance abuse issues.
